Cyclists and Volunteers Collect Trash in the Philippines Before World Environment Day

Environmentalists and volunteers in the Philippines pedaled bikes Sunday to call attention to the impact of plastic bottles on the environment. The bike ride came after green activists collected trash Saturday along the coast at a nearby bird sanctuary. The cleanup and bike ride come ahead of World Environment Day on June 5.
