Science in a Minute 011419 Canadian Team Spots Second Repeating Fast Radio Burst

Canadian astronomers say they have detected the 2nd repeating fast radio burst ever recorded. Fast radio bursts are just that – very powerful and quick blasts of radio waves that travel across the universe. Most of the rare astronomical phenomena, detected so far, did not repeat from the same source until the first repeating fast radio burst was identified in 2015.
