Freedom House: Trump is a Threat to US Democracy

A bipartisan U.S.-based watchdog says President Donald Trump is attacking essential American institutions and democratic norms, including a free press, an independent judiciary, safeguards against corruption and the legitimacy of elections. Freedom House says U.S. democracy is robust, but now faces a threat to its very survival. VOA’s Diplomatic Correspondent Cindy Saine has more from Washington.
