Four teams from the Basketball Africa League (BAL) Nile Conference have secured their place in the upcoming BAL playoffs. Reigning BAL champions Zamalek (Egypt), along with Petro de Luanda (Angola), Cape Town Tigers (South Africa) and FAP (Cameroon) all advanced to play in Kigali in May. The teams will join four others from the Sahara Conference to compete for the 2022 BAL championship.
