18 Bodies Found in Sea of Japan

Russia says the bodies of 18 people have been found in the Sea of Japan off Russia's Far East Coast, a week after two ships disappeared in a storm.

Russia says the bodies have not been identified, and it is not known which ship they came from.

A Mongolian-flagged vessel, the "West", disappeared November second as it was heading for Japan with a load of timber. Twenty-seven crew members were on board the vessel.

Another vessel, the Cambodian-flagged "Arosa," sank the same day. One sailor died, seven were rescued and seven were missing from that ship.
