Latest FIFA Rankings Largely Unchanged

The International Football Federation has released its latest world rankings with the top 14 unchanged because of a light international schedule.

Brazil remains atop the rankings with 842 points while France is second, 51 points back, and Argentina third, only six points behind France. The Czech Republic is fourth (777) followed by Spain (764).

Rounding out the top 10 are the Netherlands, Mexico, England, Portugal, and Italy. The United States is 11th.

Germany is up three places to 16th thanks to two wins on its tour of Asia. The Germans beat Japan (3-0) and Thailand (5-1) but lost to South Korea (3-1) on their Asian tour. South Korea is tied for 21st this month with Nigeria, which is the highest ranking African team.
