Kate Beckinsale says Hollywood's idea of beauty has no basis in reality.
Interviewed in the May issue of Glamour Magazine, the 33-year-old British actress says everybody in the movie capitol is "Retouched, stretched, lengthened, slimmed and trimmed.
" I could look at a picture of myself in the past and think 'Why don't I look like that now?' It's because I never did! " the actress said.
Kate Beckinsale stars with Luke Wilson in the upcoming thriller Vacancy. Her other credits include Pearl Harbor, Underworld, and its sequel, Underworld: Evolution.
