A trio of scientists at New York University has rediscovered, replicated, and studied a century-old invention by Nikola Tesla (inventor of AC electricity) that has nothing to do with electricity nor has any moving parts. Called the Tesla valvular conduit, it allows for fluids to flow easily in one direction while hindering its flow in the opposite direction. It is said that the invention has the potential to be used for a wide variety of purposes.
