'Stooping' – A Longtime NYC Tradition to Salvage and Save

One person’s trash is another person’s treasure. New York City has taken this saying to a whole new level with its tradition of “stooping.” When people throw out furniture or other items they no longer need on the city’s sidewalks, others see an opportunity.
