FBI Arrests Woman Allegedly Planning to Fight with ISIL

Newly unsealed court documents show the FBI arrested a 19-year-old woman in April as she was about to fly to Syria, apparently intending to help Islamic terrorists.

Authorities identify the suspect as Shannon Maureen Conley. She is charged with conspiring to provide support to a foreign terrorist group.

Agents arrested Conley in Denver as she was planning to board a flight to Turkey and then head to Syria to meet a man she met on the Internet.

According to the indictment, the man told her he belonged to ISIL and that both he and Conley belive that Islam requires carrying out violent jihad against non-believers.

The court says Conley has had some U.S. military training.
