Because of its geography as a low-lying coastal country at the mouth of a major river system, Bangladesh suffers disproportionately from the effects of global climate change. So it's not surprising that Bangladesh has a special interest in the climate summit in Paris, in which world leaders are trying to craft a new agreement to cut climate-changing emissions.
