The United States Government will convene a task force to integrate climate and security analysis into foreign policy priorities, weeks ahead of the high-profile Paris Climate Conference in December. U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry delivered a speech about the plan Tuesday to an audience at Old Dominion University. Senior Fellow from the Brookings Institution Barry Rabe said the task force elevates climate change to a more visible level in U.S. foreign and military policy considerations.
