Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said the delay to confirm President Donald Trump's cabinet nominees is the slowest process to get a presidential cabinet up and running since First President George Washington's administration. McConnell spoke to reporters at a stakeout in the Senate on Tuesday, February 7 following the confirmation vote for Education Secretary Betsy DeVos.
