Mueller: 'A Sitting President Cannot Be Charged with a Crime'

In his first public comment on the conclusions of his report on Russia's meddling in the 2016 US presidential election, Special Counsel Robert Mueller explained how he arrived at the conclusion outlined in his 400-page report. "A sitting president cannot be charged with a crime," Mueller said, reiterating that he followed Justice Department regulations in making the determination not to charge President Donald Trump with any crime.
