Museums Get 'Dark Data' into the Light Through Digitization

Many museums in the U.S. and other countries still do not have their fossil collections easily searchable on-line. Specimens are left in drawers, virtually hidden. There is a national effort to change that. Elizabeth Lee reports from Los Angeles
