Obama Says No Red Line for China on Japan Island Dispute

President Barack Obama has reassured Japan that a mutual defense treaty covers the islands at the heart of a territorial dispute with China, but says he has drawn no “red lines” that would result in a U.S. military attack on Chinese forces.
