Obama Urges Unity in Europe at 'Pivotal Moment'

President Barack Obama has pledged long-term U.S. support for Europe and urged unity at what he said is a “pivotal moment” for the NATO alliance and Europe. The U.S. leader wrapped up a two-day NATO summit in Poland where member states adopted a new posture toward Russia, announcing the rotation of more troops to Poland and the Baltic states.
