Pence: Proposed Space Force Needed to Meet 'New Battlefield' Threats

The U.S. military has an Army for the ground, a Navy for the sea, and an Air Force for the air. But will it have a Space Force for space? Not yet—that actually takes an act of Congress. But the Pentagon is setting up a new space command structure so that Congress could create a Space Force in the near future. VOA Pentagon correspondent Carla Babb has the details.
