Why would an executive chef run for office? Francesca Hong, a chef and a restaurateur took a long look at the service industry during the COVID-19 pandemic. She observed how restaurants treated these hard workers as if they were disposable. She decided to shake up the status quo and run for State Representative to change restaurant industry standards. Today, Francesca is a Wisconsin Assemblywoman.
