To commemorate this year’s 100th anniversary of the U.S. National Park Service, 148 fiber artists have created quilts honoring many of the breathtaking public lands. Members of Quilters Unlimited in northern Virginia recently displayed their contributions, with subjects ranging from Yosemite National Park's giant sequoias to the Grand Canyon's nearly 2-kilometers-deep gorge to the Everglades National Park's wetlands.
