The bellicose leader of Russia's republic of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, this month described members of Russia's political opposition as "enemies of the people" who should be treated like "traitors." This latest aggressive rhetoric sparked an outcry from liberal politicians who called for his resignation, but there was no rebuke from the Kremlin. VOA's Daniel Schearf reports from Moscow.
