Syrian Army Fights Back in Complicated Battle in Hasakah

Islamic State militants are making inroads in Syrian government-held areas of the northeastern city of Hasakah. In Kurdish-held districts, the battle is being observed by Kurdish YPG fighters, who count among their members a British actor-turned-volunteer.
