This year’s G-7 Summit is expected to include a focus on fiscal policy at a time when the global economy is struggling to gain momentum. The summit’s host, Japan, the world’s third-largest economy, is facing contraction as nothing the government has been trying has been able to bring about a turnaround, so far.
