US Troops in Afghanistan Celebrate Thanksgiving

U.S. troops in Aghanistan are observing Thanksgiving with all the makings of home.

Soldiers in Kabul, the Afghan capital, received a special Thanksgiving Day dinner of roast turkey, featuring traditional side dishes.

They also had to time to start their own Thanksgiving day tradition on a makeshift rugby field.

U.S. Army Captain Robert Mikyska said, "This is the first Thanksgiving game that we've done, so we're really excited about it. We've got a lot of participation from folks who normally don't play so, yeah, it's a great time."

U.S. combat troops are set to withdraw from Afghanistan at the end of 2014
