It’s been one year since the Islamic State announced the territory it had seized in Syria and Iraq constituted an Islamic caliphate, and the Pentagon is settling in for a years-long battle. Our Pentagon correspondent Carla Babb sat down with Pentagon spokesman Col. Steve Warren to find out what the coalition’s plan is for Syria and how the training of locals is going.
