White House Official: Trump Is Sending a Message With Budget

Mick Mulvaney, President Donald Trump's budget director, said the reallocation of funds "should surprise no one." Throughout the campaign, Trump promised to put "America first," and that is what the budget does, he said, by cutting foreign aid, defunding climate initiatives, and making big investments int the military and national security apparatus.
