Arzouma Kompaore

Arzouma is an award-winning Multimedia production specialist, a filmmaker and a reporter with the Voice of America's Africa Division's French to Africa service. He covers the Oscars or the Consumer Electronic Show (CES), a global event for innovation in bussiness and technology in Las Vegas, in French and English. He produces captivating stories, regularly hosts two technology TV segments in French. He has interviewed celebrities and newsmakers, including Salif Keita and Martin Scorsese. Arzouma's projects include documentary films like Braiding the dreamand Transracial Adoption: When the color is not enough.

A Fulbright Scholar, Arzuma is originally from Burkina-Faso and his carrier in film started at the Burkina Faso National Film School (ISIS) as director of photography. His film debut was writing and directing HAWA, his MFA thesis film at the Rochester Institute of Technology where he graduated in film and animation.
