In Pictures: Myanmar Police Crack Down on Protesters

The demonstrations against the military coup enter a new phase as civil servants, railway employees, teachers and workers in other sectors begin a nationwide strike. Riot police cracked down protesters in the capital of Naypyitaw by firing warning shots, rubber bullets and water cannons, seriously injuring at least two protesters.
