Afghan militants holding three United Nations relief workers hostage say they are held at separate hideouts to thwart any rescue attempt.
A spokesman for the group calling itself "Army of Muslims" said Monday if Afghan security forces manage to free one of the hostages, the other two will be killed immediately.
Unidentified gunmen abducted the trio, two women from Northern Ireland and Kosovo, and a Philippine diplomat, last Thursday in broad daylight in the Afghan capital, Kabul.
They had been working with the U.N. to oversee the country's first direct presidential election on Oct. 9th.
The abductors demand the withdrawal of U.N. and all foreign troops from Afghanistan, as well as the release of all Afghans held in foreign prisons.
