Indian officials say they have tested a short-range ballistic missile fired from a Navy ship in the Bay of Bengal.
Sunday's firing of a Dhanush missile is the latest in a series of recent tests conducted by the Indian military.
The missile, which is capable of carrying conventional or nuclear warheads, has a range of 250 kilometers. Today's test was carried out about 30 kilometers off the coast of the state of Orissa.
