Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul said in Ankara Tuesday that the plan would affect Turkey's Eskisehir air base and Greece's base in Larissa.
The two countries, which have previously come to the brink of war over territorial disputes, disagree over the extent of Greece's airspace. Athens says its airspace runs 16 kilometers from its coastline, but Ankara only recognizes 10 kilometers, the same distance as for territorial waters.
Mr. Gul, who met with his Greek counterpart Petros Molyviatis in Ankara Tuesday, also said the two countries had agreed on other confidence-building measures. They include joint military exercises and sports competitions between their military establishments.
