Mosque Burned in Netherlands

Vandals set fire to a mosque in the Dutch port city of Rotterdam Wednesday, heavily damaging the Muslim house of worship.

The suspects also painted racist graffiti on the walls of the building. No one was hurt.

Anti-Muslim violence has surged in the Netherlands since last year's murder of filmmaker Theo Van Gogh, an outspoken critic of Islamic extremism.

His alleged killer, a Dutch-Moroccan man, goes on trial next month.
