Pope Benedict has condemned a string of recent militant and terrorist attacks in several countries.
The pope made his comments Sunday from his vacation home in northern Italy after delivering his weekly blessing.
Benedict mentioned attacks this past week in Britain, Egypt, Turkey and Iraq.
The Roman Catholic Church leader also offered prayers for the victims of the attacks.
