Some 500 people have been evacuated from the Bolivian city of Riberalta, where a nearby wildfire has destroyed at least 100,000 hectares of Amazon forest.
Officials say hundreds of emergency workers are trying to fight the blaze, which is in northern Bolivia near the border with Brazil. They say the fire has been burning out of control for at least six days, fueled by high winds and dry conditions.
The cause of the fire is still unclear.
