French officials say a large explosion at a technology college in the eastern city of Mulhouse has killed one person and injured 11 others, one of them seriously.
Officials say Friday's blast in a ground floor chemistry lab rocked the building and set it on fire. Authorities say the 150 people in the building at the time of the blast have been accounted for.
Officials are still seeking to determine the cause of the blast, but the Associated Press quotes authorities at city hall as calling it an accident.
