Henin-Hardenne, Petrova in German Tennis Final

update

World number four Nadia Petrova of Russia and Justine Henin-Hardenne of Belgium will meet Sunday in the final of the German Open women's tennis tournament in Berlin.

Petrova scored a 6-1, 6-0 semifinal win over China's Li Na to reach the final. It was the Russian player's 14th straight win on clay.

Henin-Hardenne defeated world number one player Amelie Mauresmo of France in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2. Earlier, Mauresmo won her quarterfinal match over Martina Hingis of Switzerland in three sets (4-6, 6-4, 6-4). The match had been delayed Friday because of darkness.

Henin-Hardenne is 8-1 all time against Petrova, including a three-set win earlier this year on clay at the Fed Cup. The Belgian also beat Petrova in the semifinals of last year's French Open in Paris.
