Pakistan Thwarts Alleged Terrorist Plot at Polo Festival

Officials in Pakistan say intelligence agents have captured six Islamic militants allegedly planning an attack on an elite polo festival.

The suspects were caught Thursday in a raid on a home near Shandur, a scenic town about 350 kilometers north of the capital of Islamabad.

Scores of foreign tourists and Pakistanis have gathered in the town to attend the polo matches.
