Britain's Queen Elizabeth has wrapped up her tour of three Baltic countries with a stop in the Estonian capital Tallinn.
While there, she paid tribute to British sailors who died fighting for Estonia's independence nearly 90 years ago.
The queen's schedule Friday included mingling with enthusiastic crowds before an open-air concert in the city's Old Town. The queen and Prince Philip also visited Estonian soldiers who had served in Afghanistan alongside British troops.
The farewell ceremonies were completed with a 21-gun salute and a flyby performed by Estonian and British military aircraft.
During an official dinner Thursday, the monarch praised all three Baltic countries - Lithuania, Latvia and the smallest, Estonia - for what she called their "indomitable spirit, which was able to keep alive the flame of independence."
The three countries were under Soviet occupation from World War II until the 1991 collapse of the Soviet Union. All three joined the European Union and NATO in 2004.
