NBA: Iverson's 36 Points Leads Nuggets Past Rockets


National Basketball Association star Allen Iverson banked in a running three-point shot in overtime Saturday to rally the Denver Nuggets past the Houston Rockets, 121-113.

Iverson had 36 points and 10 assists, while Denver teammate Marcus Camby grabbed 22 rebounds to go with 12 points.

The Washington Wizards blew a 21-point lead in the second half, but managed to post their 10th straight home win by downing the Boston Celtics in overtime, 115-110.

In yet another overtime contest, the Cleveland Cavaliers got 32 points from LeBron James to rally from a big halftime deficit and defeat the Golden State Warriors, 106-104.

The Los Angeles Clippers routed the Memphis Grizzlies, 112-91, led by Elton Brand's season-high 34 points.

The Detroit Pistons thumped the Sacramento Kings, 91-74. The Charlotte Bobcats shot a team-record 65% on the way to beating the Atlanta Hawks, 104-85. The New York Knicks handed the Indiana Pacers their fourth straight loss in a 108-106 decision.

The New Orleans Hornets doused the Los Angeles Lakers, 113-103. The New Jersey Nets tripped up the Orlando Magic, 101-94. And, the Utah Jazz got by the Chicago Bulls, 95-85.
