Angelina Jolie says she cried constantly during the first two years of her stint as a humanitarian ambassador for the United Nations.
Speaking to Newsweek Magazine, the actress says her duties at first left her tearful and hopeless.
Traveling unaccompanied on commercial flights, Jolie has visited sites in Africa, Cambodia, and Pakistan. She says she doesn't listen to critics who describe her work as celebrity tourism, and wants to return to Cambodia.
