Snoop Dogg is off the leash. Swedish police released the rapper Monday 12 March, after holding him overnight on suspicion of possessing illegal narcotics.
A police spokesman said he was stopped early Monday morning, following a concert in Stockholm. He said Snoop Dogg and a female companion showed signs of drug use and were taken to the station. He said a small amount of unspecified narcotics were found in their vehicle.
Snoop Dogg was tested for drugs, and could face a fine if his test comes back positive.
