The Dallas Mavericks won their 60th game of the season Wednesday as they beat the Milwaukee Bucks 105-103 in the National Basketball Association.
Jason Terry led the Mavericks with 27 points, while teammate Jerry Stackhouse scored an additional 21 points. Dirk Nowitzki scored 17 points in the first half before leaving the game with an ankle injury. The Mavericks have now won eight straight games.
Elsewhere in the NBA, the New Jersey Nets enjoyed a 118-94 rout of the Indiana Pacers. New Jersey rookie Josh Boone scored a career-high 22 points, and pulled down 10 rebounds.
Wednesday's other winners in the NBA include San Antonio, New York, Toronto, Boston, Washington, Charlotte, Seattle, Utah and Houston.
Tim Duncan scored 31 points to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 92-88 win over the New Orleans Hornets. The New York Knicks downed the Cleveland Cavaliers 97-93. The Toronto Raptors defeated the Miami Heat 96-83.
Boston's Paul Pierce scored 32 points to lead the Celtics to a 105-96 double-overtime win over the Orlando Magic. The Washington Wizards beat the Philadelphia 76ers 111-108. The Charlotte Bobcats enjoyed a 101-87 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.
The Seattle SuperSonics beat the Denver Nuggets 100-87, thanks to a 33-point scoring effort from Rashard Lewis. The Utah Jazz downed the Minnesota Timberwolves 108-102, and the Houston Rockets edged the Los Angeles Clippers 92-87.
