Heather Mills says she's no gold digger. Speaking April 3 with E! Entertainment Television, the Dancing With The Stars contestant claims the media prey on her for marrying - and seeking to divorce - Paul McCartney.
Currently embroiled in a bitter split from the former Beatle, Mills said "All I did was fall in love with someone madly, and I'm constantly being vilified in the press for it." She and McCartney separated last May after four years of marriage. They have a three-year-old daughter, Beatrice.
At least Heather's still in contention on Dancing With The Stars: on April 3, former Miss USA Shandi Finnessey became the second contestant voted off the popular dance program. She joins last week's exile, Paulina Porizkova. The 28-year-old blonde, who finished second-to-last in earlier voting, got the boot after dancing the jive.
