Alec Baldwin is turning to the courts to determine who leaked his telephone message blasting his daughter.
The actor's attorneys filed paperwork on April 20, seeking a court hearing to discover who made public his message to his 11-year-old daughter, Ireland.
In a declaration, Baldwin's attorney Vicky J Greene blamed his ex-wife Kim Basinger, or her "employees, agents, or attorneys." The filing asks the court to determine whether there are grounds to hold Basinger in contempt of court.
Released last week on the celebrity news site TMZ.com, the message has Alec Baldwin calling Ireland a "rude, thoughtless little pig" for not answering a pre-arranged telephone call.
