Olympic Speed Skater Apolo Anton Ohno Wins 'Dancing With The Stars' Competition

update

Olympic short track speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno won the latest trophy on the U.S. TV reality show Dancing With The Stars.

The 25-year-old Ohno, who won two gold medals at the 2006 Winter Olympics, took the prize May 22. He and his partner, professional dancer Julianne Hough, triumphed over former 'N Sync member Joey Fatone and world female super middleweight boxing champion Laila Ali.

The ABC network telecast has averaged 20.7 million viewers a week in its fourth season. It ranks as the second most popular series on U.S. television this season, after American Idol.

Preceeding Ohno in hoisting the mirror-ball trophy were model-actress Kelly Monaco; former 98 Degrees member Drew Lachey; and former professional football star Emmitt Smith.
