Zimbabwe Rugby Squad Faces Limpopo Of South Africa On Aug. 25

Manager Losson Mtongwiza of the Zimbabwe President’s XV rugby team says the Rugby Union faces major financial problems that have hindered his ability to attract foreign players for an Aug. 25 friendly against South Africa’s Limpopo Province.

Though pleased with the team's preparations, Mtongwazi told reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye of VOA's Studio 7 for Zimbabwe that a lack of sponsorship is weighing against Zimbabwe's chances of beating South Africa in the friendly.

Rugby Union has included an Under 21 side curtain-raiser to the match at Hartsfield Rugby Grounds in Bulawayo to promote the development of younger players.
