Former world champion Stephane Lambiel of Switzerland has won the men's title at the International Skating Union's Grand Prix final in Turin, Italy.
Lambiel was second after the short program Friday. He skated a nearly flawless long program to flamenco music, to finish with 239.1 points. Japan's Daisuke Takahashi, who led after Friday's short program, finished second, 0.16 points back (238.94). American Evan Lysacek finished third (229.78).
South Korea's Kim Yu-na won the women's title with a total of 196.83 points. Japan's Mao Asada was second (191.59). European champion Carolina Kostner of Italy finished third (178.93).
Germany's Aliona Savchenko and Robin Szolkowy took the pairs title with a total of 199.23 points. China's Zhang Dan and Zhang Hao finished second (191.20). Another Chinese couple - Pang Qing and Tong Jian, finished third (185.13).
In the ice dancing competition, Russia's Oksana Domnina and Maxim Shabalin passed Americans Tanith Belbin and Benjamin Agosto to take the title (165.57 points). The American couple, which led after the original dance Friday, finished second overall (164.14). France's Isabelle Delobel and Olivier Schoenfelder finished third (163.4 points). The Grand Prix Final is the culmination of the International Skating Union's Grand Prix series.
