India's cricket team has won its 5th one-day match in a row by beating England by six wickets in Cuttack, India.
India won the toss and put the English into bat first, with Kevin Pietersen leading the visitors with an unbeaten 111 runs. Pietersen hit one 6 and 10 fours for his 7th hundred in one-day internationals.
Owais Shah added 66 not out as England reached 270-for-4 in 50 overs. However, the English total was not enough to take the match. India reached 273-for-4 with 38 balls remaining. Virender Sehwag led the home side with 91 runs.
The Indians had an unbeatable 4-0 lead in the seven match series headed into Wednesday's contest. The next match in the series is Saturday in Guwahati. The two sides also will play two test matches, starting December 11.
