Controversial Christmas Contraception Program

A healthcare charity in Britain is offering women the morning-after contraceptive pill in advance over the Christmas and New Year holidays, to help prevent unwanted pregnancies.

The British Pregnancy Advisory Service, is offering free supplies of the pill to women who want to keep it at home over the holiday season.

But opponents of the morning-after pill say they fear it will encourage a casual attitude towards sex, and may make young people in particular, more likely to be promiscuous.
