Tibet's exiled spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, is in Germany after spending three days visiting Poland.
He was greeted by local officials Wednesday in the German town of Neu-Isenburg.
Hesse State Premier Roland Koch told the Dalai Lama that he has a lot of support in Germany.
The Tibetan Buddhist leader will conduct a series of lectures in Germany, in addition to his meetings with local officials.
He will receive an honorary doctorate from the University of Marburg Monday, before departing for Switzerland.
While in Poland, the Dalai Lama received honorary citizenship of the Polish capital, Warsaw.
